Review--The Future of Our Past by Kahlen Aymes

I was sent a copy of The Future of Our Past to review and it took me by surprise. I actually read the 2nd book in the series first, so this was like a prequel for me. Julia and Ryan were friends in college, but were madly in love with each other. Neither wanted to ruin the friendship by confessing their love, though all their friends knew they were in love. When the truth finally came out, after Ryan finds out he's moving across country, they spend all the time they are together having sex and professing their love for each other. At first it was really sweet, but it got to be too much. The words used to express some of the noises, like "Uhhhh" and "Uhnnn" and others were distracting. The ending of the book leaves you wanting to know more about these two and how their story plays out. 3 out of 5
