Don't Forget to Remember Me starts where the first book, The Future of Our Past ends. Literally. If you have not read the first book, read it before you pick up this one or you will find yourself behind and somewhat confused. That being said, I liked this book. There were still some of the distracting words to try to express sounds. In this book, Ryan and Julia's relationship after a serious car accident and resulting head injury causes Julia to lose her memory. Ryan continues to be as stubborn as ever in not expressing his feelings and Julia feels very alone. The psychiatrist has recommended that Julia remember things on her own, which makes it difficult for everyone. As a therapist, this bothered me as it is not really the best course of treatment. Fortunately, most of Julia's memory returns and she and Ryan resume their relationship. This book ends sweetly, but leaving me wondering if there will be another books in this series. 3 out of 5.
