This book is not for the faint of heart. It is a dark read, as the heroine is a prostitute who is kidnapped and repeatedly raped. That's your big warning. If you have triggers or you don't like reading about this type of thing, then don't read this book. Consider yourself warned. (The author also gives you this warning before Chapter 1.)

When I first started this book I saw the warning and I was a little worried. This isn't they type of book I usually read. However, I couldn't put it down. I know, I was surprised too. Yes, there are some very graphic rape scenes, but that's not what kept me interested. The love story and the mystery are captivating. I kept wanting to know what was going to happen next. Who's following her, who is this pimp and what's up with this new guy who's interested? I read this book in two days. I really enjoyed the pace, it never got slow or boring. The author does a wonderful job of mixing the dark with the light. If you can handle the heavy subject, you'll enjoy this book! 4.5 out of 5!
