Jane's Review
Normal everyday life can be difficult at times but for Kate it has become a nightmare. In book 1 of the Killer Next Door series Kate's new landlord Roger is obsessed with her. By book 2, Roger is a stalker. Book 3, Given To You, Kate has to cope with being kidnapped.
Deciding not to let the past rule define her, she finally learns to cope with the biggest loss in her life, moves forward to complete her education, and meets a man who loves her unconditionally and wants to protect her from the evils of the world. As gentle and delicate as Kate's character is written, she remains calm in the face of danger. Neil, her Prince Charming, rescues her from Roger, then proposes marriage (all within a 24-hour period). This story is fiction at it's finest. The author hits every emotion across the spectrum in very a short timeframe, leaving me to wonder if someone could actually deal with all that stress and not end up crazy. Kate is an emotional a Wonder Woman for being able to handle all that life throws her way. Does Kate finally get her happily ever after? I'm not telling, you have to read it to find out! 3 out of 5!
