Scarlett Jade’s “Cherry Tart” is a blast to read. Cherry is a lovable plus-sized gal who you can associate with, and Kellan is every woman’s dream. I really love than Kellan only has eyes for Cherry, it makes the whirlwind romance feel more realistic. Cherry extrudes confidence and is a sexy role model for thick girls! The sex scenes are super racy with a ton of hot foreplay for Cherry every time. Bow chica wow wow! My only small beef is the secondary story line with Cherry’s parents…it could have been more fully integrated with the rest of the story line.

A friend had disdainfully
remarked how anyone could self publish, and I looked into it. I wasn't
interested in going the “normal” route. I wrote books, and up they went.

Who is your
fictional character crush (Movie, TV, Literary)?
Paul Walker... The man is
gorgeous.
How do you
connect with readers? Do you really like it when they contact you?
Usually on
Facebook, and sure, I love to talk :)
How did you
choose the cover of your book?
I pick the cover of my book first. When I saw
the picture of Cherry and her mask... I fell in love.
Who is on
your “list” of celebrities you can sleep with that your significant other can’t
get mad about?
No one, because I'd never sleep with anyone other than my
husband, celebrity or not.
Writing and
editing can sometimes be exhausting. How do you relax?
I often unplug for a few
days and shut off all the chatter, it really helps.
If you
could offer one piece of advice to a prospective author, what would it be?
Write. Don't get wrapped up in the drama and cattiness. Find some authors you
like, help each other out.
Do you have
any future projects in the works?
I always have a few things up my sleeve, but
I'm slowing down a little, I'm a homeschooling mom and I want to make sure my
kiddo gets all the attention he needs from me. He comes first, 100%.

Drink is a Cherry Tart Tequila Sunrise:
Ingredients:
Ice
2 oz tequila
1 oz cherry brandy
4 oz orange juice
¾ oz grenadine syrup
slice of lime to garnish
1.
Fill a high ball glass with ice and set aside.
2.
Combine tequila and orange juice in a cocktail
mixing glass. Add 1 cup ice, stir, and strain into the prepared highball glass.
Slowly pour in grenadine and cherry brandy and let settle.
3.
Add a slice of lime for garnish.
4.
Stir before drinking.
