Babu's Bookshelf: Burn by Brooke Cumberland-Review/Giveaway

My Review:
I loved Spark and was so excited to get to Burn right away. This book takes us through the story of Velaney and Eric. When we left them, they were off to meet his family, something Velaney has never felt like she had. Things go fairly well, but Velaney is cautious. Their relationship continues to grow, even though she decided to do something that Eric was against. A few weeks after they return, she finds out that she is pregnant. She is scared that it's too soon and that Eric will be upset. Carissa convinces her that she has to tell him, he deserves to know. She does tell him and he is thrilled. There are ups and downs and during one of the downs, Velaney leaves Eric. He is devistated and cannot understand what has happened. he tries and tries to get her back, but she refuses to let him in. But, their love for each other cannot be denied. Velaney faces her tragic past, head on. Eric never gives up. Burn is an amazing book. I can't say much else without giving away the story. You need to read this one. I really enjoyed how Velaney's faith in God was brought into the story. Not many authors are brave enough to do that in a contemporary romance novel. Thank you for going there! 5 out of 5!!
