Jane's Review:

I loved this book. I could not put it down. Jake has been in love with Clover since the first summer staying at his aunt's farm. Clover saw Jake as one of her little brother's friends, nothing more, until he rescued her one hot summer day when her car broke down. Jake's innocent charm and protectiveness for Clover made me instantly fall in love with him. Clover being more experienced in the intimacy department was a surprise that made the steamy scenes more fun to read. The characters compliment each other as together they learn to deal with abusive situations in their past and present.

Braxton Cole did a wonderful job of meshing the backstory with the current day love story. There was not one moment of this book that I would take out...I would have loved an epilogue and since it was missing my hopes for a continuation of this love story in a second book are high! I cannot wait to read other books by this author! 5 out of 5!
